PETER SAMSON wrote this original code in 1962 transforming the lightbulb indicators on the PDP-1 into a four part sound source. He operates the machine again in 2025 to transcribe Boards of Canada with transcription and paper tape assistance from Joe Lynch. Amazing work by the CHM team. We explain the software and it sounds like at least one reader is already interested in composing for it.
